Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

How long do they take to heal? Not a really bad one I don't think, still uncomfortable though. Did something biking last Wednesday and then stupidly, because I got a new bike and had to try it, made it worse on Friday. I must have a weekness there as I dd it a couple of times before playing tennis, that was several years ago though.

I had a nasty tweak during indoor cricket nets at the start of the season. Took about 3 weeks to fully get over it, but then I am getting on a bit now. Near total rest with a few gentle stretches seems to be what is recommended,

Thanks. I hope it doesn't take that long, we'll see how it is next weekend.

Do go easy with groin injuries. I first tore my right groin playing rugby as a 17yr old and it blighted me for the next 17 yrs after that until eventually I threw my boots in the bin faced with extensive groin and lower abdominal hernia surgery. Once they go badly never the same again!! My advice is rest it early and stretch loads before aggravating it. Do some research if you like on a groin injury/condition called Gilmores Groin which is ultimately what ended my egg chasing days. I tweaked it again three years ago skiing St Johann in Tirol taking a fall which splayed my skis fortunately on the last afternoon. Core strength training stretching and a good pair of warm shorts all well advised.
