daveboardtastic, welcome to the site.........sorry can't help.........O'Neil don't make very good snow jackets, mostly it's about fashion and the label which are paying way over the odds. The technical side to the jackets such as critically taped seams, breathability & waterproofing etc. are usually minimal. For the same money you could get a great technical jacket (that also looks good!) from someone like Bonfire, especially in the sales at the moment!

thanks for advice all. tried thier website but no luck.
Dan.. suppose you are right on the expensive label situation. I have not heard of Bonfire as I am fairly new at this game. Do you know anywhere in Central London thats good for Bonfire or other snowboard gear? I hear there are a few good places in Covent Garden, maybe I'll try at the weekend. Also do you know which are the best boots to buy? Had some hire boots last year and they leaked and my feet slid around all over the place. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated !!!

slush & rubble are expensive - you could try jackets on there to find size then buy on line. For example i bought this bonfire jacket
I think the Snowboard Asylum is in covent garden and gets good reviews and better prices - i've never used though. I used Ocean Sports in Hove (www.boardriders.co.uk) which have some unbeliveable prices on gear! Also www.edge2edge.co.uk in Crawley.
As for ordering from the US, most of the times i think their deliverys beat orders placed in the UK. For clothes though, you really need to try the item on over here to check the size is correct before placing an orider in the US. You can save a stack of money though!
As for boots, have a look at the other boots post in the forum. Best advice is to try lots of pairs on.............and make sure you wear the boots for a while in the shops. Best of luck!!
