Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Full day kids ski school in Aosta Valley

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I was a fully certified Instructor in the early 2000s, APSI L4, ISIA etc. I taught in Australia and the US.

Now with kids of my own I am a ski school customer, and I'm finding it a bit challenging that ski schools don't tend to offer the full day programs that are absolutely de-rigeur in Australia in the US, they were typically 6 hours from 9-3 or 9:30-3:30, included lunch and a break and allowed mum and dad to ski for the best part of the day.

My kids next European winter will be 4 and 6 & good little skiers, the 6-to-be is parallel on reds and the 4-to-be is not far behind and will have 30-odd days in Australia this winter.

We're looking at perhaps skiing in the Aosta Valley next January and wondering if anyone has feedback on ski schools that offer a full day kids program, or at the very least good quality kids ski schools.

Thanks!

In true snow heads fashion I'll not answer your question snowHead , but just observe that your kids sound like they are / will be of the standard that they could do morning ski school and then enjoy skiing with you in the afternoons? They are also going to be a much better standard of typical kids that age so end up a class with much older kids in any event.

Switzerland ski schools generally offer a morning & pm lessons with a supervised lunch break.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@t44tomo is probably right. The best option, if you don't want to ski with them, might be to just take an instructor for the day. What they call an "engagement" in France. But it would be expensive, obviously.

Ski school runs 10am to 3pm in peak weeks

Austrian ski schools are mostly full day as standard, and you can pay for supervised lunch with the instructors

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

But finding a class for 4 year old child prodigies who are parallel on red runs might be a challenge.
