Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I found
Lito Tejada on youtube but now I'm confused. What are "insipient bumps" Puzzled

Small and not too intimidating. ie. The point at which the Bumps are just starting to form.

(Sorry, I see this has already been answered).

How about this for a lad from Maidstone (and World Championship bumps runner up)...
And that was The Swiss Wall; it's hard to see the steepness from videos, but that one's the real deal.

That's proper mogul skiing; how I'd like to do it.

But those styles aren't what those BASI L4 videos are showing.... so that's not "how bumps are taught today", at least by instructors (as opposed to coaches...)?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@phil_w, @jedster, yes beautiful skiing. It's the forward speed fall-lining one of the steepest runs in the alps Shocked . And it's not a FIS hand-shaped zip-line, they're punter bumps - all over the place; all his little checks and line changes are pure witchcraft.

Ben does do the occasional bumps clinic for all comers with Avoriaz Alpine Ski School, so it is in fact what one instructor teaches!! snowHead

BTW when I said he was a beautiful skier I don't mean relative to me or even an instructor. I mean relative to most professional skiers. Just to my eye the purity of his balance and coordination is just lovely to watch
