When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

UK Snowboard Sales before season end?

Hi,

From past experience is it likely that there are any Snowboard bargains to be had before season end from the UK retailers? I'm flying out mid-march and my current ride is looking a little tired!

I reckon you might find some bargains, I used to work in a board shop and we would always discount prior to the Easter holidays as it was the last selling period for that seasons winter kit.
If we could shift the current seasons gear we'd have more space (and cash...) for the next cycle. Outerwear would discount more than hardwear, but it was always a case of shifting the current seasons kit asap as the end of season approached.
Look at the smaller independents rather than S&R / TSA etc and you'll defo find some bargains.

Yeah you will find deals for you, The only issue is you get fewer options but that's not so bad if you are open to what you end up with.
i know S2AS have gone into sale in their Snowboard Shop so worth checking that one out. Stic to independents and you should get some good deals from now until the end of the season.
