Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Any recommendations for second-hand bindings please?

I have been riding a Rome Solution board (for 15 plus years...) quite flexi, with some old Burton Mission 2006 bindings (both new when I got them!). The high backs broke (I had one replaced with a Triad in resort, but the other has gone now) so I've got some slightly later Mission bindings to replace them (still the block and lever for forward lean, rather than twisting part).

I've also bought a second-hand Never Summer board, it's a couple of centimetres longer than my other board and significantly stiffer so I'm looking for some slightly more recent bindings which are a bit stiffer say 6-8.

I don't go in the park. Mostly bombing along on piste trying to keep up with my skiing friends... I know. I also enjoy powder of course (not exactly back country but in-between the pistes, a bowl etc) and maybe once in awhile try the board-X for fun.

It seems that anything after the twist forward lean on Burton has got similar family of tech (on massive leas forward in last 7-8 years). Custom is softer than Mission and Cartel (though got much in it judging by reviews). Union have some good stiffer options, and K2.

Many thanks for any advice

I had exactly that board/binding combo when I started out. Loved it and would love a blast on one one day for nostalgias sake.

I have a bigger stiffer board and have Union forces which seem a pretty bombproof everyday binding.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I love my Union Force having come from an old set of Burton Customs (which still get used for very occasional park stuff). They seem bombproof but I did have to get some updated strap fixings as there was a known problem with the originals working loose.
