Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Chambery to VT 28 Dec 0950

We are two people arriving at 0950 into Chambery on the jet2 flight from Stansted on 28 December. Going to Val Thorens. Happy to take public transport but posting on here on the off chance anyone is on the same flight and wants to share a transfer (there are no shared buses that day).

@nikki_c, May I suggest checking out a taxi from the airport to the train station as I'm not sure about the availability of the bus. Also check the bus from Moutiers to Val Thorens on Wednesdays. It should not be a problem but some research may be useful.

Thank you. We have done quite a bit of research and are happy to do this independently (we would as you suggest take a taxi to the train station, the train, and a bus from Moutieres).

I was just asking in case anyone was on the same flight as then a taxi the whole way is the same price/cheaper.

Apologies if that wasn’t clear and thank you for the advice. I think it was probably a bit of a long shot anyway.
