Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski bag for 2 pairs

I think I've narrowed it down to three

Dakine fall line, the most expensive of the three but has good reviews on this thread but says it is 2.8 kg, which is quite lighter than others that I have viewed, contrary to what snowHead s have said.

The Decathlon bag is cheaper but I don't really need to carry 4 pairs

@AndreSilva, May not help you as you are in NL, but this is a bit of a bargain https://www.glideslide.co.uk/ski-equipment/luggage/pro-de-con-magnum-double-wheeled-ski-board-bag-blue__16805 at £75 in the UK.

This looks too good to be true for the price, the cheapest but will it survive?

Ordered the Decathlon one in the end, as seems a good price. Maybe a bit heavier than ideal, but I daresay I'll cope. Will report back.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Dakine Fall Line for me. I have the 175cm, it very happily fits two pairs of skis, and (if I choose), all of my base layers etc. I tend to take boots and helmet in a cabin sized backpack (Osprey do one which I’ve had for ages and works really well for me).

I’ve had the ski bag for ages, it’s ridiculously hard wearing and has been submitted to a lot of abuse. The wheels are incredibly solid, and will quite happily go across dodgy surfaces (and snow) with little issue. Mine has two pockets - in theory for ski boots - and they take a lot of kit which packs happily in between two pairs of skis.

Solidly built bag, never had it fail on me and it’s clearly built to last.

Ms T.
