@stefoy4me, There is roadside car parking and some outdoor car parks around there (the blue patches on JonPims link) availability depends on when you are visiting if its February its a lottery to find a space. Be careful we were there one year and managed to park in a space that got no sunshine at all - the car was frozen. We moved it after we realised!

Hi everyone, I'm hoping for some tips for ski hire, we're staying in belle plagne (chalet du vallon) in January.
I've not been to belle plagne in quite a few years and was back when my main criteria was who had the biggest discount so looking for recommendations for better hire shops, or if they're all similar (in which case we're thinking either delivery from ski2000 as we have some sort of discount or using the skiset belle plagne III that we think is closest). Any insider knowledge appreciated!

Re Online Ski Pass: Mrs Jonpim has phoned the skipass office (+33 4 79 09 68 1 .
Got most helpful and friendly lady.
Yes, there were "technical problems". She apologised ths site was down. She hoped the site would be back up later today.
She added there was no cut off date for the price of the Season Pass. Seemed to impy there was no further reduction - so Edenski may no longer be any help.
And said the cheap price of the pass, despite more expensive electricity and increased worker wages, was due to "simplification" of the pricing.

Interesting. Site did accept one of our older cards - not sure which year.
We got round Zip Code problem by entering La Plagne code in our UK address. Worked fine!
We sent email explaining all this, and got rapid reply:

I'm trying to buy a pair of 6 day passes for delivery to UK (we don't have existing cards to recharge). I also hit the invalid zip code error and emailed to ventes@ski-laplagne.com to see what they can suggest. I wouldn't mind using collect from the ski pass office if it was offered as an option.
I'll share any response I get. If anyone else finds a reliable solution please let me know.

@Jonpim, I emailed them and Tainah replied having sorted it all out! My card was 5 years old and required replacing, the postcode issue is being worked on but you can putt in 5 zeroes and it works.
@Nigel_SW, As above put in five zeroes in place of UK postcode

Here also managed to sort Carte Neige (assuming Club des Sports de la Plagne will ratify) - always such a struggle.
Now we just need some snow - snow that stays.

Thanks @boredsurfin. I've put my order in now as recommended and squeezed my UK postcode on the end of City name.
This is a very long awaited return to skiing for us, first trip since 2008 (last time in LP was 2007), now it's all booked for February half term andcan't wait to get there!
