well yes technically, I suppose, a week blocking the last place on a bash without committing to it is indeed more than 24hrs

@Topskier220, it would be a good idea to open the messages from the hamsters in your inbox or you won't know how U got down there and hence will probably just end up there again.

@nbt, these days most people end up down there cos they sniff around the bashes and leave something half-done. The hamsters chase them for a while then, in the absence of any response, assume they've fallen down a crevasse or something, and mark their account accordingly

Hi admin, Have checked my account and nothing seems to be wrong with email etc. I've booked and paid for Gnarly Bug and trying to get onto the End of Season Bash but not able to. Can you look into this. Thanks.

@Candy Girl, there are a number of possible causes for landing in a crevasse, and bounced emails is the classic trigger. However, another is failing to respond to a message asking you to commit to a bash, and then not responding to the followup message either, which means that you're blocking someone else from having that place.
What may have happened in this case is that the Gnarlibug messages were not answered, and that resulted in a crevassing in late December.
In the meantime, it looks like someone has already rescued you - you'd need to PM @admin to be sure what happened.
