Back at chalet packing to go home. Great mornings skiing. So, so cold and the flat light was very bad however the pistes are so quiet and in such good nick that easy to ski in the flat light. Looks like lots of snow on the way for tomorrow. All in all a good 3 days skiing.

That 3 days has gone by so quickly! Glad you had a good time in Tignes. Can't wait to get my skis on out there. Time to pack on the weekend ready for next Wednesday departure.

6 days to go now. Webcams look great at the moment and it sounds like most of the Killy is open. Can any confirm if the runs back to Boisses are open yet?

fair bit of snow Sun/Mon then not too much (although freezing level is very high Mon - Wed, could even be rain  ) , warmish at the start of the week getting increasingly cold towards the end of the week (-16C Fri at 2500m)

Today was cold, -17C at the Panoramique with a really strong wind, didn't bother staying up on the Grande Motte.
Lots of Spaniards in the resort now all trying to kill themselves and each other.

If it hasn't all washed away.
There isn't that much base to start with, rocks and bushes are still showing through in lots of places with big slides all around the Palet side even before the current weather front.

Warm again today and raining in the village at the moment, but the pistes are in good shape. The forecast from tomorrow afternoon is clear skies and getting colder again...
A few areas are not yet open. Only route into Val d'Isere is down to La Daille, as neither Face nor Santons are open. Looks like the run down to Les Brevieres was prepared today, but the lifts haven't yet opened.
Hopefully the forecast lower temperatures are right!

A return to colder temperatures today. There was a dusting of snow overnight which should keep the pistes soft, but not enough to replenish the off-piste yet. All in all, it's pretty good for the second week in December.

Yes all the Spanish have left, I presume for warmer climates as it was pretty baltic today
