Hi,
I'm wondering if there are any websites that advertise other people's private accommodation for renting in Ski areas?
I know a few people on here have their own website setup, but I've not really seen any sites that have the above.
Anyone know of one?

www.tiscover.at is good for Austria I think.
And try to search the web in the language of the country you're going to. e.g. search for "hebergement", and so on for France, "fereinwohnung" and so on for German-speaking places, "appartamenti" for Italy, etc.

http://www.interhome.co.uk/ Large Swiss owned outfit which works mostly with owners with huge portfolio of properties ( I have used this company very successfully in the past)
As has been said if you know where you want to go "Google" the tourist office, and look for owners who have at least their web-site up and running.
Might be useful for more tips from the forum if you gave us an idea where you are thinking of going?

The varous resorts' tourist boards - for exapmle St Anton's (click rooms).
Most b&bs, guest houses and small hotels will be family owned.
