Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Heel/Ankle Injury

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Curious if anyone else has encountered this:

Hit a shark skiing yesterday and rotated as I fell and ejected from the ski. After the fall, my heel was a bit achy but nothing of note. I skied a few last laps and then walked to the car without issue - nothing of note, just felt like I had tweaked my ankle and would be back to normal in a few days.

When I got out of the car a few hours later, I couldn't put weight on the foot without excruciating sharp pain underneath the ankle joint (closer to the bottom of the foot) and radiating up and around the heel.

I went to the ER and nothing looks broken or displaced from an initial x-ray, but I still can't put any weight on the foot and notice it particularly if I invert the ankle and place any weight on the foot. When not weight bearing I otherwise have near full, pain-free range of motion and only mild swelling.

It's weird as it doesn't feel like a typical ankle sprain when I've rolled my ankle in the past... I have pretty tight, close-fitting boots and run a 130 flex so not much movement in there at the best of times.
