Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

The fate of SnOasis soon to be decided

Architects Model of SnOasis ski domeWhether SnOasis gets the go ahead in Suffolk will be decided later this month. The mid Suffolk District Council will hear the SnOasis planning application on the 20th April...

The ambitions around SnOasis go beyond what has been acheived so far with slopes like Xscape.
If it goes ahead, SnOasis will be the first artificial slope in Britain large enough to stage international spec slalom races.

If you’re keen on the plans and want to show your support, click on the link below, for suggestions of how to back the proposal...

Or hop on a train from Liverpool Street, and change at Ipswich - snoasis is supposed to be getting it's own station.

If this story is true, it's a setback for Snoasis:

I think it is an excellent concept, but surely Ipswich is the wrong place for it (though I am sure that Masque would disagree).

Somewhere central southern England would surely be better, near the M25.

boredsurfin, dunno, maybe, Cornwall's main industry is tourism, so putting another tourist attraction there is not a bad idea - plus there have been huge regeneration advantages.

But who already goes to Ipswich that will also be attracted to snoasis?

This government makes me sick - why can't they stop poking their nose into projects that have some benefit yet sit on their collective back bottoms collecting splinters on the big issues such as what is happening in the Middle East.

I don't live anywhere near Ipswich but still support the idea - this will provide benefits on numerous levels without destroying green field land and all with private finance.

Lets hope SnOasis don't get so fed up with all the dithering that they give up on the idea and walk away.
