Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi
I’m after a set of Salomon C609 bindings to go on my Snowblades. Existing bindings have a failed rear binding spring.
If anyone has a set they no longer use I would gladly take them off your hands.

@Griggs
, production of the C609 bindings ceased circa 2000 and they came off the Indemnified List circa 2013. They were a low end binding when new but they are now waaaay past their design life and should not be skied - and it's probably why one has already failed.
There's a good number of more recent Salomon models that share the same mounting pattern so source a set of those instead. A decent Salomon retailer will be able to advise you.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Hi
Thank you for your response - I feared this would probably be the case. To be honest my request was more out of desperation to not have to finally give up on my Snowblades ! I'll reach out to Salomon and ask them for their recommendation for a more recent model that shares the same mounting pattern.
Regards

@spyderjon
, I reached out to Salomon directly who were not overly helpful. Would you happen to know of any of the more recent Salomon models that share the same mounting pattern as the now redundant C609 bindings? Any assistance would be really appreciated - all the different models are a bit of a mine field !
