Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

K2 Recon width

 Poster: A snowHead

Hey snow heads,

I’ve just bought a set of K2 Recon MV 110’s. Got fitted for them in resort then hurt myself (doh) so went home and ordered them mail order. Now arrived and great, mostly.

They fit well with the supplied insoles (how I tried them in the shop). I also bought some mid arch sidas insoles, and when these are in they feel a little too narrow. It will defo ache after a day on the slopes. I’m due to head back to the alps in a couple of weeks. My question:

1. Will the width open out a little with use as the liner moulds to me?
2. Bin the sidas and leave the supplied insoles in?
3. Try to get used to them with sidas, perhaps get them widened a bit by a fitter in resort?
4. Admit defeat, return them and buy something wider. I know the Nordica Sportmaster 110’s fit well.

I like the K2s. They’re light and comfortable, I just didn’t try them with the insoles before buying.

All advice welcome!
