Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski + Wellness trip

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hey fellow SnowHeads snowHead !

I’m thinking of organising a ski + wellness trip for those who want a fun, wellness-focused and confidence-building ski trip - nothing too boozy or overly intense. This isn’t a business venture, just something I’d love to take part in myself. If there’s enough interest, I’ll put the trip together! I don't think this competes with anything Admin organises - and I certainly don't want to do that.

The idea:
• Small group (10–12 people) in a catered chalet
• Gentle intermediate-level ski instruction: group lessons focused on confidence, technique, and fun
• Light fitness support from a personal trainer: morning mobility, optional strength/stretch sessions in the late afternoon, maybe beginner Pilates if there’s interest
• High-protein, nutritious menu: hearty meals, but more macro-friendly than the usual ski-week excess

Who it’s for:
• Improvers/intermediates who want structured support
• People who want to ski AND feel good physically and mentally
• Solo skiers or small groups of friends
• Anyone looking for a relaxed, healthy, enjoyable winter week

When:
• Mid-March 2026 (if not too late), or
• Mid-January 2027
Personally, I’m on a bit of a physical health/weight loss journey – so definitely thinking of finding others in a similar place, although those at the peak of physical fitness welcome of course Very Happy

Interested? If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, let me know using form below!

No commitment—just gauging interest to see if it’s worth organising. Happy to answer any questions. Thanks -John/Headtothehill

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

I'd be really interested in this, however
I'm a teacher so I am restricted to school holidays. I understand that that potentially puts the cost up (although Easter prices aren't usually too bad).

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?
