Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi Snowheads!

Don't know if this is an unorthodox post or not. Looking for any help on this one and would massively appreciate any responses.

I am looking to conduct a shoot in Europe. Two criterias need to be met: 1. snowy slopes + 2.sky famous for it's blueness. The shoot is to happen in the first week of March.

The question is - which places in Europe would meet both criteria in early March?

Thanks in advance,
B

Early March I'd have thought you're golden in most places. La Plagne and Les Arcs area would probably be my choice.

Some alpine spots are sunnier than others. Serre Chevalier will average more sunny days than Chamonix but the difference probably isn't massive. If you have a week to get a one day shoot then you would normally be good in most places. If you have 1 day to get a 1 day shoot in then you need to be lucky everywhere.

The dolomites has above average chances of sun but there won't be as much natural snow on the ground compared to much of the Northern Alps

@Curvemein, what sort of shoot?

Are you in your own transport or flying in etc

How many in the crew ?

My Mrs was a top fashion stylist / Fashion Director of some major UK glossies and might be able to help you.

If you have your own transport then Serre Che has everything and is close to other locations, such as La Grave as well as lakes etc

Should add we both live here all season, see link below.
