Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a ski club in the south, maybe Southampton or aldershot that holds ski race training and races for adults, everything I'm finishing seems to be for under 18's. Shocked

@Larry45t, Most clubs host adults too, just at the same time as the kids. The Masters (over 30s) category ususally has as many entries as any other age group during the summer races. My club (Bowles) has a monthly session for over 18s only.

We very much welcome adults joining the twice monthly sessions that SASA runs at Southampton, but it does tend to be mainly children. Having said that, we sometimes get university students joining in.

To find out more check out the website, https://www.skisasa.co.uk and contact the club via the emails on the website if you’ve got any questions

@Larry45t, Aldershot has an adults-only (18+) club. Trains on Saturdays, 8:00-9:30. I used to train and race with them for about 15 years (but lapsed about 7 years ago). Some of the members race, but many are just interested in a weekly ski (or at least that's how it used to be). They appear to now have Facebook or Instagram accounts. Best to contact them, or you could always just turn up (probably best about 10-15 mins before the session starts) and they'd sign you up as a guest.
