Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Conditions in Riksgransen last weekend

 Poster: A snowHead

Just thought that some of you may be interested in a report from inside the Arctic circle on the Swedish-Norwegian border last weekend. The lifts remain open until Sunday if anyone is interested in a last minute dash!

Two chairs open giving access to three runs at the top, 2 blue one red. All three about 1,500m horizontal, 300m vert. It was just possible to ski back to the resort, but involved walking across a 10m shrubby patch at one point.

There was light snowfall on Friday giving about 1cm of fresh slush. Snow was wet and heavy, but it was still snow and it was a fantastic setting. Lifts were open on Friday night to enable skiing under the midnight sun, the overcast condtiond meant the sun didn't put in an appeareance, but it cleared the following day to give us perfect conditions and a chance to watch the sun not set on Saturday night.

Throughly recommneded if you fancy stretching your season further than you ever thought possible. More info when I return from Sweden next week.
