So we are in Valtourneche at the moment, today high winds stopped us even going to cervinia! There is a lovely run home, but lads it's very dead here! The bar/restaurant at the end of the gondola has the atmosphere of a morgue, last time we skied to this spot it at least had a bit of music on the stereo! We have just skied home a fast spin , full of adrenaline and nowhere to go! Do you guys know where is a good spot?

Le Moulin (at the gondola base) has the best pizzas in town. I ate there 3 times last week! Thursday and Saturday it was rammed with wannabe ski racers, lots of go faster teenagers.
Where are you in Valtournenche? It could be worth getting the bus or driving up to Cervinia for better/wilder nightlife. Plenty of bars there.

We found a place down town that evening for some odd reason la moulin was silent Sunday evening but Tuesday had a bit of music! We have a teenager with us and she wanted to stay at the love bar yesterday, lucky we left when we did as we were THE Last people to get on the 3 man to valtourneche which closed early due to high winds , today we skied pila, stopped at a good supermarket and I'm cooking while himself is enjoying a fine wine, teen has her speaker on so I'm listening to Johnny Depp Depp, lol! We promised to take her to a lively town next year! We enjoyed pila, great for a day, also both hubby and I got new boots in aosta! Mine were 24 yrs old, the new ones are half the weight! So happy out! I

The snow in pila was hard packed, some ice showing through on the higher blacks,
Reds were all well covered and hard packed! Blues were well maintained with I assume snow cannons, all in all a good day skiing

Kenzie! Both! Valtourneche is like a morgue! Well today we had to stay put in Valtourneche, had a new experience, never ever have I gone down a slope and had the wind actually slow me down, weird as f! We could only ski here today, but there are long reds to do, glad we weren't stuck in cervina but cervina has a bit of fun! So it was ski vs fun! We got ski, holiday over, no party! That's a killer as an Irish person! It should end in a riot!
