Snow Reports

Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi,
28M with Indian passport(unfortunately, weak one in terms of mobility). Looking for Ski Resort Jobs with work visa support(passport not eligible for Working Holiday visa).
Visa is the main concern. Need a visa to even to do the certification as well because almost all of the known certifications are conducted in 1st world countries. Visitors' visa was rejected twice for Canada.
Trying to get into the snowsports industry for the last 2 years but no luck.
My background:
-Intermediate snowboarder and want to do certifications.
-Former Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience. Capable of building a whole software system for ski schools/organizations (that handles authentication, user & staff management, and payment gateway integration) from the scratch.
But open to any role & any country, just want to be associated with snowsports.
Pour in your suggestions snow-heads
Thanks

You’ll have to wait for the India-EU trade agreement.
UK-India is almost done, which will make it easier to get a work visa, but not many paying jobs in snowsports.
US is probably your best bet.
And Welcome to
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks, brother. That was helpful
Waiting for the ballot to open and it's like only 3000 spots and India's population is huge still have to try as long as I am eligible... I wish Indian states were independent and had separate passports...
Will explore the US as well
Thanks for the warm welcome... #cheers

I’m sure Gerry, our resident expert on labour issues and trade agreements, will be along soon with his suggestions of what you can do and where you can go.
West coast USA is worth a try - lots of tech firms and access to ski resorts.
Best of luck.
