Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

The Magic Pass 26/27 is now on sale at the initial price of 419CHF. Booked mine straight away so my Magic Month in Switzerland next year (retirement prize!) is officially underway. Very Happy

@Rogerdodger, I do, but is, inevitably rough and provisional. Staying in or around Aigle to begin with, visiting Villars, Leysin, Les Diablerets etc, moving on at some stage to Sierre - Val D'Anniviers, Leukerbard etc, then finishing off in the Saastal. The key thing is I'm not interested in driving and don't want a car so all the plannin involves trains and post buses. I enjoy doing that kind of research so it's very much part of the fun.

It is cheering me up as I've had to cancel a trip to Saas-Fee this month due to a bulging disc (and the Magic Pass is offering an end of season supplement for less than £100!)

Aigle is exactly where I stayed for 3 of my Magic Pass trips last season with a lovely host from AirBnB.

I can DM you her her listing if you want, as it's a short walk from Aigle station. But with no access to kitchen facilities unfortunately and shared bathroom if she has a guest or guests in her other room.

Oh and one in Sion (not Sierre) too where I did have access to kitchen and shared toilet & shower-room with the host.

Thank you. I think I will be needing a kitchen and I'm afraid at my time of life a private bathroom is one of my holiday essentials! Very Happy
