Hey folks, I’m hoping for some advice.
Provided the ease of flying with a heavy ski bag isnt an issue / there is no train travel - would anyone be able to recommend a bag that would fit in 3 pairs of skis (70cm 163cm, 100cm 179cm, 100cm 167cm). I have weighed the skis and they come to 16kg so we would have 4-7kg to play around with which is plenty as we wouldn't need to put much else into the ski bag.
We have looked at having two separate bags but for a few reasons this doesnt work for us. So could anyone recommend something they know will fit the skis?
Thanks

Sorry its a width + length of each ski
So 3 sets:
Set 1: W:70cm L:163cm
Set 2: W:100cm L:179cm
SET 3: W:100cm L:167cm

@knaz, bear in mind that any bag big enough to take 3 paris of skis will weight at least 4kg (and potentially more - my Fall Line Double weighs 4 kg).
Are the bindings on rails (so easily demountable)? If yes, then I reckon I'd easily fit those skis in a double roller bag. If the bindings don't come off any of the skis it might be harder.

A Dakine Fall Line double will take 3 pairs, BUT you need to be able to remove at least one pair of bindings. They pack with one in each side, and the flat pair down the middle. Wrap the loose bindings in a towel or some ski gear, and fasten up all other brakes so they don't make holes in the bag. Weight will be close to the limit, depending on the chonkiness of the skis.
I would advise getting a bag with wheels, as a 23kg lump with two ends is quite an unwieldy beast on one's shoulder!

I got the "untrakt" bag. It actually fits my 180cm Rustlers without using the extension. It's a really good size bag and was £65.
Seems solid after 4 flights

You often don't actually need to remove bindings for the Dakine fall line double. If male/female/kids skis, they will all likely go in with the bindings staggered. I regularly fit three or pairs of adult skis plus kids skis in on the drive down. I separate the skis and hook the brakes up with strong rubber bands, then you sort of play tetris with the skis.
Generally a pair flat on the bottom, another pair staggered with bases on the sides of the bags, then fitting the rest and poles (i use telescopic touring poles so easier) into the remaining space however you can, generally the top pair with bases facing upwards.
A bit depends on where the bindings go, obviously!
My bag for tomorrow's flight contains a pair of 168/90mm skis, a pair of 165/68mm skis, boots and all my kits for 4 days.
Viciously overweight for flying, mind, unless you have the baggage weight allowance.

 You know it makes sense.

A different approach is get quiverkillers fitted to one set and then most double bags would take.your.3 sets with the bindings removed from 1.

@22 dropout, unless the 3 pairs are for 3 people Given the sizes I'd have thought two different people, but the 70mm could be a rail binding too.

This is why I like rail bindings. My Tyrolia protector bindings are great, ski well and easy to slide on and off for packing. Plus they might save my knees one day...
Putting the bindings at the wheel end of the bag also helps with weight distribution.
