Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Has anyone been here ?
We are looking at a big chalet for next year’s family trip. One of our party has found a reasonably priced one just on the edge of this village. Means a ski bus to the slopes
We don’t know the area.

We went to St Sorlin a number of times when the children were younger. We enjoyed the skiing and the ability to get to a larger ski area of Les Sybelles.

Thanks. I think that would work for us. We have four children age 4 to 12. Also some very good skiers as well as a granny who is not skiing. Hoping the ski bus is frequent and there would be some shops cafes to keep her entertained.

@Gufo, have you done a forum search? There's a couple of recent trip reports on skiing in St Sorlin, albeit not staying in St Sorlin.

Can anyone advise on transfer from Grenoble airport ? Looks like we can get good flights direct from Edinburgh. There will be about 15 of us.
