Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Title: February transfers to the Three Valleys – realistic advice from a local driver

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi everyone,

As we’re already well into February, I thought it could be useful to share some realistic, on-the-ground information for anyone travelling to the Three Valleys (Courchevel, Méribel, Val Thorens) over the next few weeks.

I’m a local driver based in Savoie, operating under AJS Transport Savoie, and I’m on the roads daily during the winter season. February is great for snow, but it’s also one of the most demanding months for transfers.

A few practical points that often help avoid stress:

• Geneva Airport Eh oh! Three Valleys
On busy Saturdays, realistic door-to-door time is often 3h30 to 4h, sometimes more depending on traffic around Moûtiers. Fridays and Sundays are usually smoother.

• Arrival times at GVA
Late morning and early afternoon tend to be the most congested. Early morning or evening arrivals are generally easier.

• Traffic management
Even with clear roads, February weekends often involve traffic control and slowdowns near valley access points.

• Luggage & vehicle choice
Skis, large suitcases and child equipment can be tricky in standard cars. Vans make transfers far more comfortable, especially for families.

• Shared vs private transfers
Shared transfers can work mid-week, but on peak weekends delays and waiting times are common.

This isn’t a sales post — just current, local feedback to help people plan realistically and avoid surprises during a busy period.

If anyone has questions about routes, timings or general logistics, feel free to ask Eh oh!
Enjoy the snow and have a great February season Eh oh!
