Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

La Plagne, April 2026 - any female skiers/boarders interested?

Hello everyone. 45F novice/improver skier looking to go to La Plagne during the period 31 March to 11 April or 12 April 2026. It's during UK school holidays but am bound to those dates. Any ladies interested in sharing a self-catering flat? I thought it might be nice to share accommodation, look out for each other and chat. Apres-wise am quite sedate, happy to go for a drink/meal and natter if others want to, not much of a drinker and will mostly be an early night and first lifts type. Not fussed if you'd rather do your own thing Madeye-Smiley.

Update, I've booked a simple self-catering studio from the first to 11th of April 2026 with a kitchenette, three day beds, one bathroom and a balcony (here is a map and description of the building: https://www.ski-planet.com/en/ski-rental/residence-agate_la-plagne.html). Welcome a female joiner of any age or ability for all or part of the time, contribution to accommodation of £30 per night you're staying and pitching in with basic cleaning prior to check-out would be appreciated but in honesty it's more about the company as my husband and kids won't be able to join this trip.
