Who has a new ride for the season?
I picked up a Korua Pin Tonic as my new all mountain freeride board.
I chose it for a surfy feel.

New (to me) Lib Tech Skunk Ape 165w
Had my K2 Raygun since 2012 but fancied something a bit wider for my big feet, and maybe something longer for a bit more float. Picked the Lib Tech up for £100, in brilliant condition, so after a wax and edge I reckon it'll be good. Magnetraction edges are mental looking. Be interesting to find out how they ride

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

That’s a cool split let’s know how you get on with that one board quiver.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Got myself a Ride Shadowban 164w. First ever board purchase.
Absolutely buzzing to use it, but still got another 3.5 months to wait. It’s currently sat in the corner of the office teasing me every time I log on to work

Here's mine, although it's a replacement for my last HTH. It's new-old-season, but I don't much like the graphics later than this one, and I'm a cheapskate. 35°/30°, one board quiver, powder through carving circles indoors, or at Mach 2 on closed piste. The HTH is that is the first board I've ridden which works across that range. Trad race boards are unsatisfying outside of resorts; trad powder boards were at first too floppy, then too wide... this one's now my choice for both. Definitely an opinionated ride: do not buy without trying one first.
As we're doing bags, big bags don't work well with a one-board short board quiver, so for this 1.44 I bought a Dakine Pipe bag. Unfortunately they were only available in black, which is the least useful colour at an airport. I sewed on a couple of cloth patches, and bought a tin of pink "fabric paint", so here's my new bag. Allegedly the paint is waterproof, but I fully expect to learn it's not, and it might end up with a pink tie-dyed look. These non-wheely bags aren't lined, so I have a couple of Bateleon neoprene liners for edge protection too.

I wanted a new bag for this year and opted for the bright purple Jamie Anderson Dakine so it would be easy to spot in the airport.

I tried a few of the Family Tree boards, and the HTH was good. My favourite was the Alekesam, the counterbalance was pretty good too.
I need to sort out a new bag from Korua. 164 does not fit in a 157 bag!

I love them. I can also ride in Sorels or soft boots, I just like hard better. All my mates use soft, and they keep up quite well, so I conclude it doesn't make much difference. The action is a little different, but from a distance it's hard to tell what boots a good rider is using.
