Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

It is possible Peak Retreats have a slightly different arrangement but booking direct I recently checked and, despite what it says on their site, apparently it is still possible to both use it and turn up any day (within 12 months of booking) - however, because they now have some peak days (which cost more) you could have to pay a supplement, hence they advise you to modify the date online (which could involve an additional payment). So it is still flexible in terms of usage but not necessarily in terms of cost...
Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

For anyone yet to order one from Snowsafe, I think there is a January offer code: TW50 (50% off some Terrawest kit)
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name.

I think Terrawest is an own brand of Snowsafe, who I understand modelled it on the Ortovox, as you say. I have one and am very happy with it - it seems pretty close to the Ortovox (which we also have) although I cannot vouch for how robust it is as COVID has scuppered my trips since I’ve owned it... Snowsafe team are very helpful (i have no affiliation) and I think there are currently some good bundle offers in including avalanche safety stuff if you need more than just the pack.
You need to Login to know who's who.

@Dippy - I think driving, self catering etc which is what we do is very low risk in terms of Covid (and agree how you conduct yourself makes a big difference). My worry is something happens not in any way related to Covid but I have no insurance as whole policy invalid?
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

14 day isolation on return is difficult for most but will be possible for some. Are others not concerned more about the FCO advice re only essential travel (we could argue on this forum that skiing is essential but not everyone will agree) - surely this makes most if not all insurance invalid?
You'll need to Register first.

If you have a car, then driving to Siviez works really well - you can be in to the "main" Verbier ski areas such as Tortin, Mont Fort etc before they can get there from Verbier itself
