Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Enough about handbags...Snowheads.com is my go to site for European Ski Resort info, but for American resorts, gear and technique, I like Epicski.com

This is better- searches booking.com and a bunch of other sites with the same search without opening a bunch of windows. I've booked with booking.com and while they often have the lowest rate, there are enough exceptions to make this worth it- plus it is very easy to use.

Hi All,

By popular request here's the Snowheads Discount Code for transfers from Geneva Airport/Chamonix and Geneva Airport/Morzine:

'chamsnowheads' - 10% discount with no minimum purchase, expires Dec 31st 2013 with unlimited uses

'morzsnowheads' - 10% discount with no minimum purchase, expires Dec 31st 2013 with unlimited uses

You enter the discount code on the same page during the booking process as your name/phone number etc.

I find it's great to organise snow trips using an app like troopr - http://www.troopr.com

It allows you to help pick dates between your crew, split group expenses and share your location easily.

fatbob, I used it earlier on today and checked again just now. It was working fine - the way I did it was to go on an advanced forum search, type in 'holiday autos discount code' and 'search for all terms' and it comes up from there.

Hope it works for you too.

I've been working on WeSki since last ski season, and it's finally up in the app store. The app allows you to track your friends, get turn-by-turn directions (based on your skill level) and schedule meet-ups. I created this with family and group ski trips in mind. If you have an upcoming trip, I'd love a download and any feedback you might have!

Can get discount by booking through topcashback

register to get an account then book through topcashback - transfers you to site you want then book as normal but get casback. Cashback can take a while to appear in your account ( normally not until after you haave travelled) but once its there you can transfer to your bank account
get discounts on some ski holidays (crystalski 2.6%), flights eg Swiss 1.57%, airport car parking, ferries etc.

I got £55 back last year, enough to pay for a few drinks while I am skiing.

Hi, my pals and I created this www as we've been going to Morzine for years and have built up some good contacts for accommodation, transfers, ski/board hire etc.. it's only been up for a few days, it's not meant to be a all encompassing but we keep adding pages etc, not selling anything just advising where and how much the happy hours are, (mainly so we can budget..) all based on our visits.. We will keep updating though..

Love this website and will donate some cash as it's soooo important to keep that once a year fire burning!!

Would love your feedback (hopefully positive ones) and any places you can recommend..

Here goes nothing - I've built a site that I think can compliment some of the SnowHeads offerings!
www.snowclans.com
Specifically for Solo riders, SnowClans mission is to provide a one stop shop to get out to the mountains and prove there's demand for a whole range of holidays. We don't think people wanting to maximise their time on the snow should have to compromise.

2 Member-led Options
Ride Buddy Adverts & Holiday Adverts
A bit like the forum, but with the ability to filter and search (Ability, budget, Location, Date)
Anyone can submit an advert and manage their own private discussion room to organise the holiday they want. Properties can also submit a suggestion to your advert if they fit the description you've given for what you're looking for.

2 Property Lead Options
Solo-Friendly Accommodation Listings - For everyone sick of not just being able to browse a collection of places with shared or single rooms available without knowing where or when you want to go.
Group Holiday Listings - Pre-Organised trips (Bashes, HOFNAR, Ski Gathering etc) and New Chalet-led options, where normally sole occupancy properties have opened up to welcome in solos.

- I'm currently working on building these out with properties.
The KEY to this is demand - All members fill out a form on the where, when, what, who of what they want to do next season and this is shown in a dashboard for properties to see just how many solo's want to go out there. You'll then get an email when a holiday that fit's appears.
