Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Courchevel 1850 - Ski hire with storage or ski lockers

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi,

I am looking for a ski hire shop in Courchevel 1850 that will store my families ski's overnight. I have a disability and its hard enough carrying my own skis around, but I also need to help the kids. We will start each days skiing in 1850. It doesn't look like there are ski lockers at 1850, so I am trying to find a shop that offers overnight storage (which I've used at other resorts) in 1850. Shop websites don't always seem to say, so before I call them all, I wondered if anyone could recommend a particular shop? Lockers would be preferable too, if my no lockers information is false.

Thanks for your help

whitestorm.fr advertise free ski lockering in 1850. (No connection, just found them online).

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Not sure if it's a viable solution, but the Alpinium in Le Praz has lockers that you can store skis and boots for up to four people. Could take the bubble down from 1850 to access lockers and skis.

This winter was the first time I've stayed in Le Praz and was super impressed. I thought 1850 was the place to be in courchevel, but le praz was so nice - amazing restaurants, quaint atmosphere, couple of nice bars... loved it. Back there in 7 days.
