Poster: A snowHead
|
Hi all. I have a 3 year old grandson who has taken his first 'steps' on his local slope in Italy. I have plenty of skis that I can adapt for him but am looking for junior bindings and a pair of boots. Can anyone help? Many thanks, Chris

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

@Chrisgump, what size of boots are you looking for?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Hi. I think he's 24/25 at moment but he's quite a tall lad and growing fast! I think by December/January we might fit him in 26/27

@Chrisgump, tho' I don't have any (sold ours long ago) I can recommend the Roces adjustable ski boots as a way of dealing with ever-expanding feet.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I take it you are not talking Mondo points given he’s three years old? Mondo point are what ski boots are measured in for all boots are more precise and comparable than kid shoe sizes.
For example I am well over 3 years old and use 27 Mondo.
Suggest you measure and ask for Mondo point.

Would be cheaper to buy skis with (rail) bindings I would have thought.
Not sure what you mean by "adapt".
There are plenty of kids ski stuff on Marketplace, ebay, etc at the right time of the year (probably quieter now).
